Symbolism

Dancing is like therapy to me because when I am upset I dance how I feel for example if I am sad I dance a lyrical dance and show people how I feel.

My Analogy

My experience for cadet teaching for school is like being a big sister because I am always help the kindergarten class and they smile at me and say hi Megan. I also feel like a big sister when I do my Monday class I assist because they are always hugging me and saying hi to me. I love little kids and I am great with them.I also love working with kids when it comes to cadet or teaching them how to dance. Every year I assist for dance I find one little munchkin that reminds me of when I was there age and when I was not a good listener or really shy.

people should be treated better

I think people should be treated better because most people don’t give other races chances because of the past or they live in a poor community. For example people expect African Americans and Hispanics are all Geto. Also people shouldn’t judge someone because of their past because some people do change. For example if someone stole stuff everyone judges that person and says “be careful that white guy is going to steel your money and your car. Just because that person did that in the past doesn’t mean that person isn’t going to do that again. People should be treated equally and not be judged because of were they come or came from. For example an Irish exchange student is going to an a American school, people would make fun of the exchange students accent, or say “were is your pot of gold Irish leprechaun". So these are my reasons why people should be treated better.

Dracula:A Comedy Noir

Dracula:A Comedy Noir is about Dracula falling in love with a beautiful girl named Maria, But Dracula choices to bit victims and become a vampire then falling in love with Maria. Then Dracula's Family (Ghouls, Mini Mummies, Sidekicks and much more) My step-dad Rich will be dancing with me in the foxy tango scene. Dracula will be on October 28 at East High School, the show starts at 7:00 PM. The cost is $5 each person. There will also be a costume contest during intermission. The Dancers are part of the Iowa Dance Theater Company. I hope there will be a full house because this is my last year doing Dracula

Homecoming

My school dress up days this week are Fancy wear I am wearing a red halter dress. Tuesday is Movie star day I am planning on dressing like Elena from The Vampire Diaries. Wednesday is Senior citizen day I am dressing like a hippie, I am wearing my Woodstock, New York shirt, jeans and black vest . Thursday is Ugly Sweater day I am not going to be at school instead I am going to visit Creston College. Then Friday is Spirt day I am planing on wearing blue jeans and a white shirt or blue shirt and blue and white accessories. On Thursday we have the annual Grudge match, Power puff game, the homecoming carnation and class skits. Friday is class games and see which class won hallway decorations, games and who wear the best outfit of each day. Then Friday Night it's the big game Van Meter VS Earlham. Saturday is the Homecoming dance were you get to take pictures with your friends, go out to eat and dance all night and have fun. Homecoming to me is really cool because I get to dress up and have fun at the dance.

9/11

I was in second grade when 9/11 happened. I remember my mom and my friends parents were really worried about us, and when we went to my house, my mom and my friends parents hugged us. Another thing I remember is my mom trying to get a hold of my Uncle from New York, My uncle finally answered three days later. When I was in 8th grade My mom, Rich, Brit, and I flew to New York on Flight92. Everyone were really scared and worried because we were in the same plane that crashed 7 years ago.
